However, the number of organizations on the ground that are able to implement these funds effectively remains small. Additionally, organizations who do have the ability to deliver on the ground are often unable to gain access to these funds. SMC was founded to address these challenges by assisting high-capacity NGOs to register in the country as well as assisting developing organizations on the ground to strengthen their management capacity and efficiency.
